I just turned 29 this week, and I do wonder how retirement would look like if I strived to reach it in my mid 30s. How much is enough, when $1M buys even less now?
To me, young folks retiring would imply a single or DINK lifestyle, where people say 'we won't die with our money anyway.' I've even heard net worth is a social construct.
In the end it is very value-based and personal.
