I'm new to medium and building an email list (many stress its importance because it's 'ownership') so thank you for explaining this so clearly! I had a trial for convertkit but it sort of 'kicked me out,' (my first newsletter draft is nowhere to be seen and I didn't save it :( ) but I'm doing my best to get it back up!
